At my house, all candy is strictly off-limits until after the trick-or-treat hours are finished. Then, and only then, do we dare dip into the stash. We’d hate to run out mid-group!

I’m in one of those neighborhoods were the kids don’t go door-to-door, they go to the community center one block away from me and load up on free candy. My mother’s neighborhood is one of those where parents from OTHER communities truck their kids in to take advantage of quiet streets and wealthy home owners!
I’m gonna shut off the lights, and wallow in soy ice cream until midnight 😀

My toddler surely won’t need all her candy, so Mommy and Daddy are going to help out.

My wife put my son in an over-sized infant penguin costume and we walked through the mall and people went “OHHHHH! A penguin!” and I turned interesting shades of red, I’m told, and my wife reveled in it. Size.
Although, fun fact: If you carry a baby around in a silly costume, you will attract girls. Does me no good, but there it is.

Piper raked it in. I couldn’t get her to say trick or treat, but she did thank everyone for the candy. She looked so cute.
