I’m elsewhere, working, thinking (and, at the moment, eating).
But here, this restores my optimism in humanity. I think it’s probably a John Irving story that stumbled its way into reality.

That is a good story, and it’s so nice to see people do the right thing and even go to extraordinary lengths to reunite people with their things.

Hope the thinking, working, and mad scribbling are going well for you.

All that trouble for a $50 camera.
I would have just turned it in to the Lost and Found and got on with my life.
I thought John Irving wrote spy dramas.

That story actually makes me wish I could find a camera and do the detective work – I think it’s fantastic. I’ve found purses, and wallets filled with tourist’s cash, and always managed to find the owners within the hour. But that’s just cool.

Of course, if it were a Stephen King story, instead of John Irving (who does NOT write spy dramas, good grief), then it would be a whole different story, and it would spiral into madness.
